Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has recovered assets worth billions across the country, its Chief Executive Officer Twalib Mbarak announced during a handover ceremony at State House, Nairobi.

Notable recoveries include 15 parcels of land valued at Sh135 million in Kisii County, and an acre of land at Uasin Gishu Referral Hospital worth Sh700m.

 Other includes a prime half-acre plot in Kilimani, valued at Sh700 million, 1.8 acres belonging to Kisumu Law Courts, and three parcels of land in Eldoret owned by the National Police Service.

President William Ruto lauded the EACC for its efforts in retrieving public  assets, noting the Commission’s vital role in fighting corruption in the land
