Omondi has named the day as a celebration to remember those who died during the antigovernmental protests.
Erick Omondi has been agitating for change in the government foe long. He has held more than 20 one-man protest, especially around parliament. Eric feels like those who dies during the genz protests are the real heroes and cant go without celebration on such a day.
In addition, he said that the official guests are those who lost their loved ones during the protest. Usually, the 20th of the 10th month, is the official day of the national celebrations to remember those who fought for the nation’s freedom during the colonial era.
Eric Omondi is seeking for the suggestions of Kenyans where the celebrations should be held.
