Following the Genz protests, youth have been closely monitoring the political class, mainly through the track records and developmental projects.

In the heart of Embu, a county brimming with youthful vibrance, an inspiring transformational is underway. With a staggering populace of youth raising to the occasion, the youth have emerged as the driving force behind a burgeoning political revolution. For far too long, this dynamic generation has endured marginalization and exclusion, grappling with the harsh realities of unemployment, poverty, corruption, violence, and divisive tensions.

Behold, change is stirring in the Embu air. In the recent events, the sheer power and potential of the youth as catalysts of progress is unveiling. They stepped boldly into the realm of local politics, eagerly seeking accountability and quality leadership in various offices such as members of county assembly and the county governor. Empowered and united, they seize opportunities making their voices heard, molding the very fabric of their county and nation’s destiny

The Embu County youth took to the space discussing pertinent issues regarding their county. Amongst the issues raised by the youth on space are health sector, minerals, water and infrastructure. United by a shared vision, these young leaders herald a new dawn of change, transcending regional, ideological, and socio-economic boundaries. They tirelessly advocate for democracy, human rights, social justice, economic development, peace, and security—issues that resonate deeply with their generation. Collaborating and forming alliances that transcend political divisions, they weave a compelling tapestry of youth-led politics, revitalizing the counties spirit.

Kenya prepares to embark on another chapter in its democratic saga, the youthful voices are set to reverberate louder than ever before.
