Activist Kasmuel McOure has boldly announced his intention to vie for a political seat in the 2027 elections, aiming to take political power, regardless of his current following.
“I’m clear about my ambitions,” McOure shared in a recent podcast. “I want to take political power, whether I have one or two followers—it’s my goal, and I’m pursuing it.”
Though he hasn’t disclosed the specific position he plans to contest, McOure emphasized his determination to secure a spot in government: “I’ll be on the ballot and in government in 2027.”
McOure’s declaration follows recent backlash for his silence after an attack on activist Morara Kebaso at Bomas of Kenya. Some accused him of being a sellout, claims he strongly denied.
“If I ever compromise my integrity, I’ll admit it. But until you have proof, don’t project your convenience onto me,” he retorted.
He also dismissed de-platforming threats with defiance: “The real challenge is de-platforming me from your mothers’ hearts. They see through the sensationalism you’re pushing.”
