- While on JK live on Wednesday evening, Morara was asked by Jeff Koinange if it was true the President called him and what the two spoke.
- While declining to disclose the topic of discussion, Morara confirmed that indeed the president called him and the two had a chat for about five minutes.
The conversation was joined by the state house spokesperson Hussein Mohammed who strongly refuted the claims, calling Morara a liar. “For the record, such a call never happened. It’s a statement of imagination” Hussein Mohamed said. Instead, Hussein called for Morara to substantiate his claim if indeed it was true the president called him.
The duo appeared to have ‘he said-he said’ situation when Jeff invited Kebaso reiterate on Hussein Mohammed statement. In a rejoinder, Kebaso asked Hussein Mohamed if he really knew all the people that the president speaks to everyday, something that the state house spokesperson could not respond to. “Regarding the president call, I wonder why Husein purports to know who the president calls and who he doesn’t call” Morara Said. Kebaso offered to call the president live on air, something that the state house spokesperson could not let happen.
With his recent exposes of the stalled government projects, Kebaso has amassed huge trust from Kenyans who seem to think he is heavenly sent to deliver the children of Israel. Kenyans seemed more to believe Morara side of the story terming Hussein as one protecting the interest of his job and would do what it takes to please his boss.
Parting short, Kebaso assured Kenyans on live television that he will get his call history from Safaricom and share it to Kenyans on his next interview.
