Debunking Capitalisms as an ideology, as opposed to Socialisms, Communism.

While man, (both male and female), is seeking civilizations and the  pursuit the ideas of a perfect life, a perfect society and a perfect form of governance, and a life that everyone in the society is generally happy. So many ideologies have passed through minds of a men. From the ancient barbaric and anarchical governments, to the current democracies as tools of governance. Development of Law, from doctrines natural Law  by the Aquinas, to Modern written constitutions. Capitalism to socialism to communism  as tools for social-economic co-existence.

However, while some ideologies are developed for the betterment of the general society, some are designed for interests of a few greedy fellas, who feel they holds higher places in the societies they live in and therefore these societies owes them. Let’s take an example of imperialism, of colonialism, which all sparks from the idea of capitalism, these ideas were just for a feeling of white self supremacy, or a sense of self validation that some people were better, bigger and mattered  more than others.

Capitalism, is an economic ideology based on private ownership of the means of productions. It was  first coined by a Scottish political economists Adam Smith, in his writing,  an Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations. Capitalism is a widely adopted economic system in which there is private ownership of the means of production. Modern capitalist systems usually include a market-oriented economy, in which the production and pricing of goods, as well as the income of individuals, are dictated to a greater extent by market forces resulting from interactions between private businesses and individuals than by central planning undertaken by a government or local institution. Capitalism is built on the concepts of private property, profit motive, and market competition mechanisms.

While Smith was trying to bring a solution to the eco-political world, where nations were scrambling for resources, Capitalism has been faulted and criticized for its inhumane nature. It’s disregard for the common good of the society as opposed to just profit making. Much of the critics of capitalism sparks from economic and political Philosopher, Karl Max.

Marx just like the famous ancient Moral Philosopher and jurist,  Jeremy Bentham argued that for a society to prosper, that society must consider the general good of that society. He held the position that Capitalism is unreliable and unstable ideology of  growth, which can easily sparks production of social harms, such as pollution and inhumane treatment of workers, and other forms of inequality. I totally agree. While in Capitalism the end goal is to make as much profit as one may, Capitalism disregards a sense of human social life. It suppose, even if it means killing to make the profit, so be it, after all the government will therefore get tax from your profits.

Now let’s take a look at Communism. From where I stand, a communist state is one that cannot exist. Communist State is an oxymoron ideology. Since the end goal of communism as an ideology is to create a stateless, classless and lawless society, where every individual, from a sense of natural values is expected to just take good care of themselves and others. So, the word communism and state cannot occur in one sentence. However, most people confuse communism from socialism.

Whereas Communism is a stateless, classless society, Socialism on the other hand, is the vessel from which one side we find Capitalism and the other side we find Communism. Socialism is the in between ideology. It is a transitional ideology away from Capitalism, where the proletariat, the actual workers owns the means of productions, distribution and exchange. In a socialist state, the production channel are owned by those who do the actual job.

Whereas Capitalists make profits out of sweat and blood of less payed laborer’s who aide them making millions of money as profits in return, Socialism suggests that these proletariats should actually own these means of production, thus earning from actual sweat. It is evidently clear that capitalism thrives on exploitations, human degradations, cohersed labor among other social injustices.

While capitalism enhance on socialize production but privatize profitability, Socialism focuses on socialize production, distribution channel and profitability as well.
