Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu on Friday, January 20, 2023, released the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam results.
While releasing the results at Mtihani house in Nairobi, the CS noted that out of the 881,416 candidates who sat the 2022 KCSE exam, 173,345 scored the minimum university entry grade of C+ and above compared to 145,776 in 2021.
Machogu also pointed out that 1,146 candidates scored grade A in 2022 outscoring the 2021 class where 1138 candidates recorded grade A.
