Huddah Monroe Claps Back at MP Salasya: ‘My Blood is Only Drawn to Kings’ After He Rejects Her Apology.

Things are heating up between socialite Huddah Monroe and Mumias East MP Peter Salasya as their online spat shows no signs of slowing down.

What began as playful banter has spiraled into a full-blown public feud, with both parties taking jabs at each other. In a recent Instagram story, Huddah didn’t hold back, stating she only entertains men of a certain caliber – and Salasya, in her eyes, is far from it.

“My blood is only drawn to kings. Never seen a king troll online. I’m perplexed. The problem is I gave the shamba boy attention, thinking he had a king’s mentality. Never again,” she fired off.

Huddah was unapologetic, advising the youthful MP to take rejection in stride and move on. “Rejection is part of life; accept it and move on,” she added, making it clear that the drama hasn’t phased her.

This came after Salasya publicly rejected Huddah’s apology on Instagram on September 25, 2024. He declared that he had moved on, choosing to focus on his political duties rather than their online back-and-forth.

“Somebody tell this woman I have no time for her; sasa aende aimbe wimbo na kudance na wasanii, while I handle politics where I thrive,” Salasya shot back, adding that controversy no longer interests him beyond his constituents.

The saga took a surprising turn earlier, when Huddah issued an apology to Salasya on September 24, 2024. She expressed remorse for their heated exchange and praised the MP for his potential.

“I respect you a lot @peter_salasya and I apologize for putting you on blast. I have nothing against you and still have mad respect. You’re a great man destined for greatness,” she wrote.

Despite this olive branch, Salasya had already made up his mind. After weeks of expressing his admiration for the socialite, the MP decided to call it quits, citing the challenge of maintaining Huddah’s high-end lifestyle.

“Mimi siezani. I’m better off with my simple ladies. Any comment I made that hurt any of my kienyeji out there, please forgive me. It was just social media talk,” he said, signaling the end of his high-profile pursuit.

As their feud unfolds, it’s clear neither side is ready to back down just yet.
