“Ignore the Naysayers!” – President Ruto Fires Back at Critics

President William Ruto on Sunday reaffirmed his dedication to transforming the country, brushing off sharp criticism from his opponents.

Speaking during a church service in Nairobi, the President vowed to remain steadfast in pursuing his vision for a better Kenya.

“Our economy, education, and health sectors are undergoing transformation. Let us focus on that because it is what will shape a destiny that benefits all of us,” he said.

“I am confident about the future of Kenya. It is a great nation. Nobody should tell you anything less.”

Ruto emphasized that political attacks will not deter him from fulfilling his mandate, stating that his primary goal is to implement reforms that uplift the majority of Kenyans.

“Let us ignore the naysayers — those who have nothing to offer except insults, name-calling, and ethnic division,” he remarked.

His comments come amid sustained backlash from the opposition, including former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, who has accused him of shady dealings and weak leadership.

In response, Ruto dismissed Gachagua’s newly launched Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP), calling it “colourless” and tribal.
