President Ruto orders thorough investigations into the cause of the fire that has claimed 17 students lives.

President William Ruto has condoled with the families of the departed young ones at Hill side Endarash Academy in Kieni, Nyeri.

17 learners were announced dead earlier today after a very terrific fire incident hit the school dormitory.

The President has also order proper investigations in the course of the incident and promised anyone responsible will be taken into accountability. “Our thoughts are with the families of the children who have lost their lives in the fire tragedy at the Hillside Endarasha Academy in Nyeri County.  This is devastating news. We pray for speedy recovery to the survivors. I instruct relevant authorities to thoroughly investigate this horrific incident. Those responsible will be held into account” The president wote in his tweeter account.

Former president Uhuru kenyatta has also condoled with the families of the children who lost their lives.

Police spokesperson said the fire broke out in the dormitory at night , but they are yet to establish the course of the fire.
