Reportedly: Wanjigi arrested after reporting to DCI.

• Business man Jimmy Wanjigi arrested on Monday 19th August 2024 after reporting to DCI.
• Police had earlier searched his house in attempt to find evidence against the Billionaire business man following allegations that he funded the Genz protests. 
• Wanjigi is one of the controversial critics of the Kenya Kwanza regime especially on matters public depts and development.
• “You can’t find me in my house, all you need to do is to summon me” Jimmy Wanjigi had earlier said after a long day search at his Muthaiga house in attempt to arrest him. 
• The billionaire business person and a father of two is currently arraigned at Kamukunji Police Station. 

Wanjigi took to his X handle expressing Frastrations after DCI went after him despite numerous court orders barring the same. The Safina Party leaders has been a very controversial critic of the Kenya Kwanza regime calling out the misappropriations and corruption by government officials. He is very known for his audacious calling out of the odious dept ailing Kenyans from mismanagement of resources by  government officials.

During the outburst of  Genz protest, the business man was very adamant and never fear to express his support for the young lads, including showing up to the streets.
