Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachugua announced that he held a meeting with pastors and church ministers from various denominations at his rural home in Wamunyoro, Nyeri County.

In a statement posted on his official social media accounts on Thursday evening, January 30, 2025, Gachagua mentioned that the pastors visited him for a courtesy call and that he gained valuable spiritual insights from them. He highlighted that they also discussed current issues and public sentiment regarding the country’s future direction.

Gachagua, who has been welcoming both political and non-political leaders to his Wamunyoro home following his impeachment, stated that he will continue to consult with Kenyans.

“This afternoon I was blessed to receive a team of Pastors and Church Ministers from different denominations, who called on me at the Wamunyoro Residence, to pray for me and my family.

“I especially benefited from their spiritual insights on various issues happening around us, as well as their input on what the ground is saying as regards to the direction we should take as a Nation. The consultations continue,” Gachagua disclosed.

He further assured Kenyans of his commitment to provide candid responses to their concerns, sharing his insights on the issues affecting the nation.

“In a very truthful manner, I’ll give you a candid response of what is my insight and my thinking and again discuss the state of our nation, where we are as a country, what is going on in our country and what we think you people in the diaspora can do better to improve the lives of our people,” Gachagua said.
