Taking to his official X (formerly twitter) account on Monday, January 13, 2025, Ledama stated that it is now time for the country accept the technological advencement with the youth and have a conversation on what to expect for the future generations.
According to Leadama, the country should not deny technology its way and should let youth explore the tool regardless. He further warned that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will soon take over if the government continues fighting the technology.
“By arresting youth who are using technology to express their frustrations is refusing to accept the future …it’s time to have a conversation on what to expect for the future generations. My view here is quite unorthodox I must admit, but I believe it’s the truth … let’s not deny technology let us talk to each other or soon AI will take over,” Ledama asserted
Ledama added that the duty of all leaders and all the orders generation is to protect the children of the day since they are the future of the country.
“Our duty as leaders is to protect what is most important to us -: our children and AI has been unleashed to the most unprepared world. This utopian ideas paralyze governments and confuses everyone especially this time when the benefits of prosperity benefits only those who are already wealthy,” Ledama added.
