Baltasar Engonga: The Man Behind 400 Sex Tapes Involving The Spouses of Prominent Individuals in Equatorial Guinea

Baltasar Engonga, Director General of the National Financial Investigation Agency in Equatorial Guinea, was reportedly taken into custody for supposedly filming more than 400 sex tapes involving the spouses of prominent individuals in the country.

During a fraud investigation, authorities searched the home and office of the 54-year-old Economist where they discovered CDs showing his intimate encounters with various married women.

Real Equatorial Guinea reports that the man is at the heart of a significant scandal involving explicit videos, including some with well-known individuals and government officials’ spouses.

The recordings, discovered in his workplace, allegedly capture interactions with the spouses of various prominent authorities, such as the president’s sister, the police chief’s wife, and approximately 20 ministers’ wives, and others.

The videos are said to show interactions with prominent individuals like his brother’s spouse, his cousin, the President of Equatorial Guinea’s sister, the wife of the Director General of Police, and approximately 20 wives of the country’s ministers, among others.

The video, found in his private office, was reportedly filmed with permission and has now been released online, sparking a media frenzy. The ex-ANIF DG, also called “Bello”, engaged in sexual activity with multiple women, including some who were already married, and recorded these private moments.

The report stated that some scenes occurred in his office, including moments where he was found sleeping with a woman beside the National Flag. The Executive has announced that the measure is a direct reaction to the acts that have harmed the country’s reputation, stemming from the sexual scandal.

It is claimed that Baltasar EBANG ENGONGA recorded these scenes with the approval of the women involved, absolving him from potential charges of violating their integrity. In the videos, he is depicted engaging in unprotected sexual acts with multiple women, some of whom are married to prominent individuals in the country, as well as with the most famous and influential single women in Equatorial Guinea. Scenes are set in various locations such as hotel rooms, houses, and even the protagonist’s office at the Ministry of Finance.”

Nevertheless, addressing the viral sextapes, the Attorney General of the nation, Nzang Nguema, emphasized that, while the footage indicates that the women voluntarily took part, consensual sexual acts are not deemed criminal under the law unless there is evidence of coercion or violence. This emphasizes how crucial it is for victims to report incidents of sexual abuse or assault.

Nguema also highlighted that the risk extends to not just the women themselves, but also to their partners and the broader community, stating, “The potential spread of a contagious illness through these sexual encounters further escalates the urgency of the situation.”
