On the radar: Ruto to lead tree planting exercise countrywide.

President William Ruto will today, Monday, November 13, lead Kenyans in a tree planting exercise nationwide.

 

The exercise will take place in all 47 counties where Cabinet Secretaries and governors will lead the exercise, though,Ruto will preside over the exercise in Makueni.

 

•••ODM registration exercise in Homa Bay
Opposition Chief Raila Odinga will be heading to Homa Bay county as the government leads national tree planting exercise countrywide.Raila’s ODM Party will be in Gladys Wanga led-county to recruit people to register with it.

 

At the moment, ODM currently has 8.2 million members and targeting to hit 15 million by 2025.

 

•••Seven charged as UK police hunt others after protests
Seven men have been charged over disorder on Armistice Day for offences including inciting racial hatred.

 

The Met Police said 145 people were arrested – the “vast majority” of whom were counter-protesters – and nine officers were injured on Saturday.

 

It condemned violence from right-wing counter-protesters who it says set out to confront the pro-Palestinian march.
