‘Be Patient With The Government In 2024!,’ DP Gachagua Urges Kenyans.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has asked Kenyans to be patient as the government seeks to address the economic hardships facing the country.

Speaking in Nakuru on New Year’s Eve, the DP said the government is aware that the ending year has been tough for Kenyans but promised that the New Year will bring a change in the fortunes of many Kenyans.

“I want to assure you, hizi shida zimekuwa huu mwaka ni kidogo, huu mwaka wa 2024 tukiuangalia tunaona mwangaza na mbele iko sawa,” he said.

At the same time, Gachagua defended the affordable housing programme that has been challenged in court.

“Huu mradi wa affordable housing, 650 units imetoa kazi kwa vijana wetu. Mafundi wa hapa Bondeni ndio wamejenga hizi nyumba, wakaleta windows, doors and we want the project to continue so that we create jobs for the youth,” the DP stated.
