With tears streaming and voices trembling, they shared poignant tales of spouses deserting their families, leaving behind shattered homes and fractured hearts. Their impassioned plea for change reverberated across the village, igniting a call to arms to safeguard the sanctity of marriage.

Unified in their pursuit of a brighter future, Gatunduri’s women boldly petitioned the government: shut down five bars in the village.
