Family Left Homeless After Devastating Fire in Embu Amid Surge in Incidents.

 

A family in Embu County has been left homeless after a devastating fire razed their home in the Kiriari area of Ruguru Ngandori Ward. This incident is part of a troubling surge in fire occurrences in the region, with this being the third reported fire in just one week.

Residents have voiced growing concern over the increasing number of fires, urging authorities to conduct thorough investigations. “We demand that proper investigations are carried out to put an end to these infernos,” one resident stated.

In the midst of the chaos, a Form Three student from Karau Day Secondary School emerged as an unexpected hero. Brian Kimanthi courageously rescued a child trapped inside the burning house, displaying remarkable bravery.

The affected families are now calling for support as they face the daunting task of rebuilding their lives after this devastating fire. Community members and local organizations are encouraged to assist in providing the necessary aid to help these families recover from their losses and regain stability.
