“I never knew a man I helped become the President can be so vicious” Rigathi Gachagua cries.

Rigathi Gachagua expressed his concerns regarding his superior, President William Ruto.

In a press briefing at the Karen Hospital, Gachagua criticized Mr. Ruto expressed that he never realized the man could be so malevolent and ruthless.

Gachagua was hospitalized on Thursday evening when he was set to take the witness stand and defend himself against the charges brought forth for impeachment.

On Sunday, October 20th, Rigathi Gachagua was discharged from the hospital after two days of treatment. He was accompanied by his family, including his wife, two children, and several supportive politicians. However, while Rigathi was hospitalized, his impeachers proceeded with the impeachment proceedings despite his lawyers requesting that the Senate allow them until Tuesday, October 22nd, for him to recuperate and take a stand. However, senators voted against adjourning the session and continued with the vote for his impeachment.

In a brief press conference held at Karen Hospital, the embattled Deputy President expressed regret for selling out the Kikuyus to President Ruto, claiming that he never anticipated the AN could be so vicious and cruel. “I’m astonished by the cruelty of a man I assisted in becoming president, a man I trusted, and for whom I faced persecution while supporting him. It is shocking that he could display such hostility towards me while I was genuinely fighting for my life in the hospital,” Gachagua stated.

His security details were removed from all his properties, and both he and his vehicles were impounded. Furthermore, all employees associated with his office were mandated to take compulsory leave. “As of today, the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya does not have security.” “He is alone,” Gachagua added.
