Kanyari to Kiengei: ‘Huewezi Apologize Empty-Handed—Tumtafutie Ksh1M!.

Pastor Victor Kanyari has urged Bishop Ben Kiengei, who also works as a radio presenter, to offer a substantial cash apology to digital content creator Pritty Vishy for recent defamatory remarks.

In a viral video, Kanyari criticized Kiengei for his comments, suggesting that an apology without financial compensation was insufficient. Kanyari proposed that both he and Kiengei contribute Ksh500,000 each to Vishy as compensation for the offense.

“Kiengei, umemess, Kiengei umechoma lakini mimi kama mzee kama elder twende tuombe msamaha. Huwezi omba msamaha mikono mitupu. Naona tutafutie Vishy milioni moja, mimi nitatoa 500k wewe utoe 500k tupee Vishy tuombe msamaha. Huewezi enda kuomba msamaha mikono mitupu. Ulimutusi ati hana mwili mzuri, Vishy ameiva but umemutusi achana na Vishy,” Kanyari said.

Kanyari praised Vishy’s appearance, noting that her ex-boyfriend lost a “treasure” by parting ways with her. “Simple Boy aliloose gold, aliloose mtu mzuri, a very beautiful girl,” he added.

On September 3, 2024, Bishop Kiengei issued an apology to Vishy, acknowledging his over-the-top remarks and expressing regret. He invited Vishy to forgive him and join his church.

“Pritty Vishy, I am really sorry and I take this moment to highly apologize for mentioning your name in a show where I went overboard and mentioned you in the wrong way. Get a space in your heart to forgive me for addressing you in the wrong way,” Kiengei stated.

Vishy, however, rejected the written apology, demanding a video apology instead. “When you widely opened your mouth to abuse me, did you send your assistant, or did he write the line? If you want to talk to me, do it directly. I want a video apology, just as you made the disrespectful video. Don’t send people to me; did they help you laugh?” she said.
