As we look at the energy and passion that the younger generation brings, it’s clear that there’s a gap in how we guide and support them. Too often, we are quick to judge, eager to point out where they go wrong, without taking the time to truly understand their perspective.

Instead of focusing on their mistakes, why don’t we shift our approach instead. Instead of lecturing them about how things were in our day, we could offer them the wisdom of our experiences while recognizing the unique challenges they face today. Their energy is not something to be stilted but to be channeled into positive change.
