Jumaisi was one of the 13 suspects that blew into the winds from Gigiri police station. Detectives have since then been working on re-arresting them. The escape is suspected to be an inside-aide game, and four police were arraigned in court on following the escape.

I Love Embu News have established that the cell sentry and the officer on duty that day are under investigations. A suspect arrested for fraud previous night and who was booked into the station said that the suspects did not escape by cutting a mesh at the jail cells’ basking bay as earlier reported. The suspect confirmed that the duty officer took a roll call some minutes past midnight. At the point, he walked away without shuting the doors. He says that when he arrived at the sation around 9, he found all the suspects at the corridor including Colins.

The Police Station has 6 cell cubes, splitted even into three and separated by a corridor, Jumaisi was in a cell the far end. Jumaisi had been at Gigiri since 17th of July. Most times his door was locked, and he was chained to ground. The adjacent cube to Jumaisi had four suspects who did not ran away, while the next had the 12 Eritrean that escaped alongside Jumaisi.
