This tragic incident was reported to have taken place around 6 PM on October 14th, when the speeding LC 300 collided with the couple while they were trying to cross the highway. According to eyewitnesses, the couple sustained serious head injuries and lost their lives at the scene.
Residents, angered by the fatalities, quickly assembled at the accident site and began obstructing the road. They highlighted that the road has become a danger to residents, attributing this to the government’s neglect of the area, which is a known hotspot for numerous accidents.
As temperatures rise and vehicles fail, residents are advising drivers to seek alternative routes. The angry mob proceeded to set the estimated 30 million LC300 car on fire. The police arrived at the scene and diffused the heightened tensions, but considerable damage had already occurred.
