‘Putting husbands back to husbandry’, Farming and the family

  • Husbandry is a practice without which our relationship can face difficult.
  • Dating is premised on the act going out to eat, which make sense because a hungry man is an angry man
  • Women naturally are hardwired to bond over meals. Whether it’s obvious and in plain sight or not, farming is at the center family building. Plainly put, there is not family without farming.

Premising our argument on the fact that family rely on farming and the farm, which is primarily land, here is the debunk. This isn’t just about gender roles. The family unity functions at an optimal level when the means of securing essential energy resources are well defined. Hence, traditionally, husbands serve the purpose of obtaining food for the family and ensuring that there is constant supply of farm produce for their wives and offsprings.

The garden of Eden story paints a high-definition picture of a man and woman living in a garden and getting their food land. The story serves to show the optimal living conditions for husband and wife. without belaboring the point, husbands must discover ways to get more involved with husbandry. everyone is happier when they can just feed their family. Everything else is secondary. By addressing the question, “how do I put food on the table?” husbands better understands the purpose of owning land and its utilization for the benefits of both the family and the nation at large.

The challenge has been that most husbands, suffering from the aftereffects of western education have forgotten that they have a divine relationship with the land. Husbands have given up their primary resource and heritage. By putting the land back into the hands of men, upcoming husbands in the fields are guaranteed to succeed in marriage. Why so? one may ask. It is because husbands in their understanding of art and science can maximize use of land tor cultivate and breading animals to create wealth for the family.
